Issue #2: Making new friends, journaling, and inspiration from Elizabeth Gilbert
Hi everyone, it’s Ruth here :)
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about relationships. I moved to a new city less than a month ago, and with the lockdowns and restrictions, it’s been really had to settle in.
I’m not alone with this. Life is still happening, despite the pandemic, and people are moving around for whatever reasons. Have you had any major life changes this year?
Luckily, I’ve got a plan to start making new connections with people once the restrictions ease. You can take a look at my ideas for making new friends this year here. I’ve also put together some tips on charisma and being naturally charming, which you can read all about here.
With the lockdown still ongoing due to the current restrictions, I’ve been turning to hobbies to keep me busy. One thing that really changed my life and improved my well-being in all the chaos of the past year was journaling.
Which hobbies keep you sane right now? I’d love to know. (These emails can be replied to at any time, so seriously feel free to shoot me a message, as I’m always looking for new friends!)
Finally, I’ve been turning to some old friends for inspiration. One of my favorite books I read in the past year was Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Check out my dissection of all the wisdom from the book over in Better Marketing this week.
That’s all for this week folks! Thank you so much for subscribing and for reading. I’ll see you over in the next issue!
Love,
Ruth
